AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MKIII BJ8 LHD, 2 Doors, Manual 4 speed, Roadster, Petrol, 1967 E Reg, Blue. A beautiful original Left Hand Drive Healey 3000 BJ8. Manual with Overdrive, wire wheels, navy blue upholstery and soft top. This car was imported from the states in 1988. It has excellent panel gaps all round and the doors close very nicely. The car drives exceptionally well and gives you real confidence. The brakes are strong and pull the car up straight. This is not a show car to be trailered round, it has its original upholstery and wood which is all in good condition. Driving this car is addictive, once you start you won't want to stop!! These late Healeys are great for touring as they have the benefit of wind up windows and a folding soft top. Lots of History, heritage certificate, US title. 12 Months MoT, Tax Exempt, Ready to go!

Austin A35 with vauxhall astra engine, 1.4    Ford type 9   5 speed gear box. This was a professional conversion by a company  that builds rally cars and cost £2,600 several years ago. I have all the paperwork.

This car drives superbly and is very quick, could do with wider wheels

To make perfect this car would need new carpets, and some new or better chrome and there is a rust spot on the boot lid. In the pictures you can see some of the paint is flaking off on the front panel.


The car will have its original steering wheel and not the one as seen in the pictures. And no tow bar.

Description

This classic Austin 7 RP Box Saloon has been subject to a previous restoration and is still in excellent condition.

The car was registered new in May 1934 and still retains it's original transferable registration number AXX700. This number itself has a value but we hope that the buyer retains the number on the car as to remove it would be a sacrilege.

As the car is a 1934 model it has the more useful four speed gearbox and has the starter motor under the bonnet which gives more room in the passenger cabin than earlier models.

It has also had the very sensible upgrade of hydraulic brakes all round which means that the car will stop when required.

The MOT and free Historic Road Tax run until April 2013 and the V5 log book shows that it has only had five owners in it's 78 year life.

The Austin 7 is well supported by numerous owners clubs who can be relied upon to help keep these wonderful historic cars on the road.

We try to describe all vehicles as accurately as we can and we show a full range of photographs to help you determine the condition of the vehicle. If you are unsure of anything relating to condition, please phone to clarify. Buyers are deemed to have inspected and approved any vehicle they buy. Please remember that these vehicles are not new and that they have been subject to wear and tear. As such, they are offered for sale on a trade sale basis with no warranty.

Viewing
All vehicles are available for viewing by appointment during normal business hours (9am-4.30pm Monday to Friday). Saturday and Sunday viewing by arrangement.

Payments
We can only accept bank tranfer, bankers draft or cash on collection as payment. If you intend to pay by bankers draft then we need to know the draft details and the issuing branch (with contact details) before collection of vehicle. No other forms of payment are accepted.

Delivery
Vehicles will only be delivered after full payment has been received.
