This is "Tarquin"..my Girlfriends Nissan Sunny that she has owned since 1998. Ideal retro ride project...not many N13, 3 door models left

Tarquin had been in regular use until 2 years ago when Sarah changed her job and no longer needed a car to commute in. The time has come to pass him on to a new home as he just isn't getting used any more,  My classic car took over the indoor parking and the Sunny now sits on the street , we live 40 yds from the sea and that has started to take it's toll.

The good bits..he has road tax and MOT until mid summer..he's had a new exhaust, front discs, rear wheel cylinders, front pads and rear shoes fitted over the last few years. In the past 15 years he has passed almost every MOT with minimal effort..normally nothing more than a tyre or windscreen wiper. He has jump started almost every one of my cars..without fail he has been the most reliable car in our house. On a long run  he often returns about 40 mpg at motorway speeds...it really is surprisingly economical and the 5 speed gear box still feels good.

The not so good bits..he's just clocked up 100,000 miles. Both front window mechanisms have failed..these are manual window winders but electrics could be retro fitted. The drivers seat is falling to bits. The dash electrics sometimes fail to come on..this only happens on start up so turn it off and normally they come on 2nd attempt..dodgy electrics in the switch???..this doesn't affect starting or the cars running..just the dash/clock electrics. The body isn't at it's best..there are a few small blisters and a small hole in the top of the drivers door...nothing a bit of filler won't sort..ideally a re-spray. The original radio has long gone and the current one fitted will be removed..the aerial was snapped off a long time ago.

Tarquin would be ideal as a cheap run around or as a retro ride project. Viewing no problem, bid to buy..not to haggle. No messers..no dreamers.

The car is in Worthing..West Sussex and really needs to be moved by Feb 13th as the insurance runs out on that day.
