On offer is an ultra rare 1970 Datsun 240z that has had one lady owner for over 24 years and only two owner prior to this, the car has lived in California from day one and boy can you tell, it has the early chassis number of HLS30- 006033 dating it to June 1970, all original id tags are in place and matching and the car retains almost all of the correct early features, the car also remains in a very standard unmodified specification, the car runs and drives very well. Now for the best bit, the car has never had any structural damage, it is also very very clean and shows no evidence of ever having any rot repairs,it is what every Datsun Z enthusiast dreams of both being early and bodily better than imaginable. The car is not a concourse show winner as it has never been restored however it has always been much loved and cared for never having been allowed to get into such a state as to require restoration. I was advised that the car was repainted in 1990 as the original was sun bleached and polished through in places, the colour is a little more orange than the factory red. the original front seats have been re covered in a cloth material as an upgrade, this was done in the mid 1990's but they are still very good. The original handbook etc are still with the car as is the factory tool kit. If your are looking for a genuine really nice 240z and also want a first year car that is un restored and can remain that way if cared for you will have to search long and far to better this beautiful example. This car is absolutely lovely and draws crowds wherever it goes.  Its a 260z 2+2.  I bought the car 15 months ago from a classic car dealership manchester way, its condition was very good and it came with 12months MOT.  If you look through google images for long enough you will find it as i bought it.  I then set about transforming the car to the way it looks today.  The car has been re-painted in nissan bright white paint (preperation and paint done by a preffessional to a very high standard) the same person fitted the front valance and extension arches that had to be adapted to fit the brand new rota rbx wheels that sit on bridgestone rubber.  At the same time the car was de-bumpered at the rear.  The car has been lowered by two inches with uprated springs and HP tokico shocks supplied by mike at MJP Eastern auto.  The ride is not uncomfortable thanks to listening to mike, as i wanted to go lower but i think his advise was in-valuable as the look and ride is great.  The vast majority of seals have been replaced at considerable cost and work to locate.  All sorts of other new items as you can imagine to get the car looking like this!.  The work didnt stop with the exterior, the interior has had just as much attention, no rips, no cracks and new carpet.   The engine has had a new cam chain and tensioner and all serviceable items have been re-newed.  The car has just had a new MOT placed on her with no problems at all (headlight adjust, ed and re-newed fluid for clutch, handbrake adjusted).  I did all this because i saw a picture of a grey one on google images, fell in love and decided i had to have one.  Problem is when she was done my E30 M3 was to go.  i prefer the looks and sound of the Z.  But this is a car i have to use fairly regular, it needs to do a job not just come out on sunny days.  I almost forgot it also has to trolley my two young boys around as well when needed.  The fact is i love the drive of my e30 more and it does everything else i need it to better as well.  For this reason the bm is staying and the Z has to go.  The car has also been under sealed and all of the interior floor has been repainted as well.  A lot of my time and effort has gone into this car, it really does need to be seen.  I will try to post more pics or set up a link if i can.  i will being going to tatton park classic car show, if the car is still available then it will be there.  Please email any questions but no silly offers your only wasteing your own time.  many thanks for looking its Mike
