Hello and welcome to my auction.

I have for sale a 1973 Jensen Interceptor for sale, which is in need of restoration.

I am currently a proud owner of a Jensen CV8, which is being restored professionally. I am reluctantly offering the Interceptor for sale, mainly due to the realisation that the car would be off the road for several years and this seems a shame and should be on the road.

The colour of the car is metallic Brienz blue with a black interior and black vinyl roof.

As is common with these cars, the front wheel arches have started to bubble and will need repairing. Also the rear hatch has filler and may need re-welding, depending on your budget.

Both sills will require replacing and the front valance has seen better days!!

The car is complete, and the interior is in good condition, although there is a tear in an inconspicuous area on the driver's seat (by the central console).

The engine does run and the car freely rolls for transportation.

I would strongly recommend viewing if this is convenient and I can be available any time next week. The car is currently stored at my restorer's yard in a village called Warkworth, a couple of miles from junction 11 on the M40.

I also have for sale the following items by seperate negotiation with the winning bidder:

two front wings which have been shot blasted and now etch primed in grey primer

two rear wheel arches

front valance

new black carpet

Nardi style wooden steering wheel plus Jensen boss

Cash on collection is preferred and needless to say the car will have to be transported by trailer as there is no MOT.

I have received several similar questions, so I thought I should address them in the advert.

Firstly, I would like to offer the winning bidder of the car first refusal on the panels and parts that I have listed by seperate negotiation.

Secondly, if the new owner requires the panels, I am able to store the parts in my garage for a period of time if this helps.

I will get some more photos of the car early next week (weather permitting!!) if anybody needs to view any specific areas.
