1982 Series 3 SWB

Unmolested example-Tools and Handbook present

Very reluctant sale only due to injury and lack of use.

Wonderful patina and showing some typical Land Rover battle scars it has lead a very sheltered life for the last few years. I love to see a vehicle that has been used but also looked after and when I first saw this example I wanted it- it took a lot of work to prise it from its former keeper but persistence won! The early history is a mystery but I have MOT's dating back to 1996. It was a truck cab originally I believe but I prefer the hardtop and roof rack, much more practical.

Mechanically it runs sweetly and and the gearbox works as it should, the brakes are the best I've ever had on a Series truck.

Interior in great condition, it still has original rubber mats on the floor.

Bulkhead good and chassis is sound, the Mot tester (not one to be easily impressed!) commented on what a nice un-messed with example it was.

Only done 101 miles in the last 12 months so its time to find a new keeper to look after and use the truck, I could put it into storage but I think these vehicles need to be exercised and I'm not going to be the one to do this.

Lovely panel fit but not concours, mostly original paint so a great base to improve or just use and enjoy.

Viewing essential, any questions I'll do my best to answer, better still come and have a look and a chat and a brew.

Bad points- everyone has different standards so its best to come and see for yourself- if I'm being picky the tyres are getting old and hard, the choke has come adrift in the cab and needs to be re-attached.

I'm not interested in p/x, this will be cash on collection only.
