Regretable Sale our 2CV AZ,called Mimi, she is  in very good original condition considering she is 55 years old. She drives really  well and goes along around 45 /50 mph if no strong wind, she has a traffic clutch and the wipers work off the speedo. As well as suicide doors she has 6 volt electrics and the original french number plate is on the back, as shown in the picture, she came over from France in 2005, there is some paper work and pictures from France. She has been wax oiled in 2005, has had a new master cylinder and king pins, etc in the last 2 years. We have had a lot of fun with Mimi, attending many CCC Events and a 300 mile round trip on the London to Brighton last year. Mimi's body work is in really good condition for her age there is some hand painting and touching up done over the years and the odd small dent, she is not perfect by any means but in our opinion this enhances her charactor and gives a wonderful patina. The chassis engine and floor as far as I know are all original, as is the rest of the car, the only part that isn't is the vent flap, which has been replaced at some time. I took her out today first time since October and she started on the button and drove great, giving a friends 1978 Acadiane van a run for its money. The mileage is 86194 kilometers, she is tax exempt and seems to do around 50 mpg, so cheap to run. I would be happy to drive her any where, be it slowly! Since we have owned her she's never let us down and has always caused a lot of interest even from non Citreonites.
