Hi there and welcome to my listing of this garage find 1989 Ford Fiesta 1.1 Popular Plus - it's a 1 Former Keeper car with only 61,000 miles. I've removed it from it's resting place today - it will make a great little project for someone. Relisted in this format due to some slug of the earth timewaster winning and not ever getting in touch - just do one and mess with someone else's time and money.The car has no MOT or tax and was last on the road in 2010 so it's not been sitting around for decades and should be pretty easy to recommission.It's in generally excellent condition all round - check out the pictures - the paint has responded very well to a wash (boy oh boy was it filthy!), it's lovely and looks great in grandad cream lol, the panels are straight and dent free, there are a few small rust scabs here and there though. The back arches are lovely and solid. Sills are a bit scabby in places underneath, floors and inner wings look good. All 4 tyres are brand new and matching. The car still has it's matching front and rear supplying main dealer registration plates.It's showing a recorded mileage of 61,000 which looks perfectly genuine to me given the condition and by the VOSA MOT records which I've printed out and included here. The car starts first time every time (with a jump start) with use of the charming manual choke and drives very well indeed, excellent brakes, steering and suspension. The engine sounds to be in great health. The 4 speed gearbox is slick and the clutch bites well. There is a bit of "clutch whoop" which will probably wear off with use, it's caused by rust on the flywheel of cars left standing around. I've only driven it around the yard though - I would strongly advise against driving it home for legalities sake!! The interior is absolutely great - the seats look like they have hardly been sat in. The carpets are in top condition. Everything on the dash works. The radio is asking for a code but I can't see one anywhere in the paperwork. There is a problem with the drivers door catch, it was very stiff to open when I got to the car and now it wont stay shut and you can hear something rattling around inside. I guess a rod has come unclipped or something, I really don't have time to mess.Car comes with two Ford keys, original Ford owners handbooks in leather wallet, service book (the old boy has written in there when he's serviced the car DIY), Old MOT. front indicator has small chip clear ones ordered front and side should be hear and fitted next few days

fan thermocouple style thermostat needs replacing was run on a switch i removed switch and have ordered controller and should be fitted next couple of days when turns up

passanger side speaker cover missing in door i will try and measure and get one

brake self adjusting pedal ratchet sometimes clicks but still stops so not a problem

the car should want for nothing

no test pilots no idiots or time wasters you know who you are and i can soon work out the type so only genuine intrested people apply i only have limited pics as it started raining so i put it away but if your intrested come and view dont keep asking for loads of pics the ones i have on speak for them self

can be removed at any time due to been advertised elsewhere thanks no stupid offers this is the next big classic look at your cosworths rs1600i series 1 if you have the space ideal to sit on for 2-3 years and make upto 8k profit i just dont have the spare room
